Vans Warped Tour 2017

For the third year in a row I covered The Vans Warped Tour at their Michigan stop for CJAM 99.1 FM, and I think this year was my favourite in terms of artists playing. I was beyond stoked to be able to see Alestorm live, being able to finally shoot Municipal Waste was cool as hell, and although I found their set to be disappointing I was excited to catch Candiria. I also found a few new bands this year that are being added to my usual rotation of music, so that's pretty cool too! This year's event was educational for me, too. For example, I learned that I should really get an old-lady-esque glasses chain when shooting events like this, and that there are still good people out there (shout out to the person who turned in my glasses - I need those to see and was thrilled to get them back!).
