#WomenInMusic Instagram Series

My Instagram feed has been looking pretty male-dominated lately, so I've decided that for all of August I'll be strictly posting photos of women musicians.

I've gone back through the archives of the last couple years, and have found thirty-one awesome photos of ladies from seventeen different bands doing their thing on stage. While I don't want to give away the full list yet, you can expect to see some of the acts from the 2017 Vans Warped Tour, women representing at least four different countries.

This type of IG curation is a bit different from my usual methods of photo posting, where I just have a dropbox folder of images I like and will choose randomly from each day (although admittedly I've lately been a bit lacking in the posts - at least this will force me to get back into the habit!) Last year in September I ran the #17DaysOfSillyFaces campaign, and it was a huge hit, so I'm hoping that #WomenInMusic will be just as popular! Not to worry though, I'll still be running the Silly Faces series this fall so stay tuned for that!!
